install firewire card:
---------------------------------------------------
From the start menu select “Run”.
Type : regedt32 (et pas regedit)
Find the following PCI folder using the path shown below:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\ENUMPCI
In this folder you will find a selection of folders that look something like this:
VEN_1106&DEV_3044&SUBSYS30441106&REV_47
Open each folder and in the right window look for the “DeviceDesc” line which identifies the device. Look for your IEEE 1394 PCI card which will read something like:
OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller
When you have found the correct folder, from the Security menu (Top of window), select “Permissions”.
If you are an administrator on the PC you are using you will be able to select the “Allow” box next to Full Control.
After doing this, click ok to confirm the change in settings. Close the Registry Editor window and restart your computer.
